Drumello Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Drumello, including the Drumello website, app, song charts, practice tools and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Drumello provides
Drumello is an interactive drum-practice service designed to help users learn and practise drum parts using visual charts, timing tools and compatible media sources. Drumello is a training tool and does not guarantee any particular learning result.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for information supplied through your account and for keeping access to your account secure. You must not use another person’s account without permission or use Drumello for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
3. Free and Pro access
Some songs and features may be available with a Free account. Drumello Pro may provide access to additional catalogue content or features. The exact content included in each tier can change as the Service develops. Before any paid subscription is taken, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms and cancellation method will be shown to you.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Where Drumello Pro is purchased through Apple, Google or another authorised billing provider, payments, renewals and subscription management may also be subject to that provider’s terms. You can cancel future renewal using the cancellation method made available for the subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewal rather than removing access already paid for, unless applicable law or the relevant store rules require otherwise.
5. Song charts and third-party media
Drumello charts are visual drum-learning data used by the Service. Some charts may be created or submitted by the Drumello community and reviewed for playback accuracy. Music or video made available through a third-party service remains subject to that service’s own terms, availability and rights. Drumello does not give you ownership of third-party music, recordings or videos.
6. Acceptable use
You may use Drumello for personal, non-commercial practice. You must not copy, scrape, bulk-download, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Drumello charts, software, catalogue data or other proprietary parts of the Service except where the law expressly permits it or Drumello gives written permission.
7. Community submissions
If community chart submission is enabled, you must only submit material you have the right to provide. You retain ownership of your original contribution, but you give Drumello permission to host, process, adapt, review and display it as necessary to operate and improve the Service. Drumello may reject or remove submissions that are inaccurate, unlawful, infringing or unsuitable.
8. Availability and changes
Drumello is still evolving. Songs, features, media integrations and functionality may be added, changed or removed. Third-party media can also become unavailable for reasons outside Drumello’s control. We will try to avoid changes that unfairly deprive paying users of what they have purchased and will comply with applicable consumer law.
Microphone and MIDI input depend on compatible hardware, operating-system support, browser or app capabilities and user-granted permissions. Web and native-app support may differ by platform.
9. Intellectual property
The Drumello name, branding, software, interface, original graphics and proprietary chart technology are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, music and other content remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects rights you have under consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, Drumello is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the Service or for failures caused by third-party services outside Drumello’s reasonable control.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using Drumello at any time. Drumello may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious misuse, fraud, security risk, infringement or breach of these Terms. Account deletion options will be provided when full account management is launched.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Drumello develops or where legal, security or operational requirements change. Where a change materially affects existing users, we will provide appropriate notice.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you where you live.
14. Contact
Drumello contact details will be published here before public launch. Until then, this page forms part of the pre-release Drumello prototype and should not be treated as the final production legal notice.

Drumello Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Drumello intends to handle personal information when you create an account or use the Service. It is written for the current pre-release product and must be updated if Drumello’s data practices change.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Drumello is the controller of personal data collected directly for the operation of Drumello. Full business identity, postal address and privacy contact details will be inserted here before public launch.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on the features you use, this may include your name, email address, account identifier, authentication-provider information, Free or Pro entitlement, favourites, playback and sync preferences, requested songs, support messages, device/app information, security logs and basic usage information needed to operate and improve Drumello.
Payment card details should be handled by the relevant payment or app-store provider rather than stored directly by Drumello where the subscription is processed through that provider.
3. Drum input permissions and local processing
If you enable Acoustic Mic Input, Drumello asks the browser or app for microphone permission. In the current web build, microphone audio is analysed live on the device to detect and classify drum hits. Raw microphone audio is not uploaded by the drum-input feature. Learned acoustic-kit models and related input settings are stored locally in the browser on that device.
If you enable MIDI Input, Drumello asks the browser or app for access to connected MIDI devices. Incoming MIDI note, timing and velocity messages are processed on the device for kit mapping and Stage Mode scoring. Custom MIDI mappings are stored locally on that device in the current web build.
4. Why we use your information
We may process information to create and secure your account; provide the song library and practice features; remember favourites and preferences; manage subscription entitlement; respond to requests and support; prevent abuse and security incidents; maintain and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
5. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as securing, maintaining and improving Drumello. Where consent is legally required, we will ask for it and you can withdraw that consent.
6. Who we may share data with
Information may be processed by service providers needed to run Drumello, such as authentication/database hosting, app hosting, analytics or error-monitoring services, payment/app-store providers and media services you choose to use. We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, Drumello or others.
7. Third-party services
If Drumello embeds or connects to services such as YouTube, Apple or Google, those services may process information under their own privacy terms. Their processing is separate from personal data Drumello controls directly.
8. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Drumello will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism.
9. How long we keep information
We will keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account operation, security, legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. Specific retention periods will be documented before public launch once the final production services and logging are confirmed.
10. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to certain processing and receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it.
11. Complaints
Please contact Drumello first if you have a privacy concern so we can try to resolve it. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
12. Cookies and local storage
Drumello may use browser storage or similar technology to keep you signed in, remember favourites, store personal sync settings and maintain essential app state. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced, Drumello will provide any notice and consent controls required by law.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and devices.
14. Children
Drumello’s final age requirements and any child-specific privacy measures will be confirmed before public launch. We will not knowingly introduce processing directed at children without first implementing the safeguards required by applicable law.
15. Changes to this Policy
We will review this Privacy Policy as Drumello develops. If we introduce a new material use of personal data, we will update the notice and provide appropriate information before that processing begins.
